As a small Inn, we kindly ask you familiarize yourself with our policies so we can provided the highest level of customer service to all our guests.

RESERVATIONS
The Room Rate is based on a 2-person per room occupancy per night; there is a $75 per person and a $50 per child (under 12) charge for additional occupants in a room. A 15% Connecticut Occupancy Tax will be added per room per night to your stay.
Important Information About Your Reservation
Please review our deposit and cancellation policies noted below. Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly; therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Please note that COVID-19 will not qualify as a refundable event.
Deposits
A 50% Non-Refundable deposit is taken when you make your reservation. The balance of your reservation will be charged seven (7) days prior to your arrival. Reservations made through third-party websites such as Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO, and Airbnb will be charged a 100% (plus tax and fees) Non-Refundable payment at the time of booking. Any reservation made on such sites must be canceled directly through that site.
A two-night minimum is required on weekends, from April 12th – November 30th, and during certain holidays.

CANCELLATIONS
If your reservation is cancelled seven (7) days prior to your check-in date, your 50% deposit is not refundable. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to the check-in date will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
Please note that voice messages cannot be accepted for cancellations. All Cancellations must be confirmed via telephone conversation with us. Please reference your confirmation number when canceling.
The West Lane Inn has a limited number of rooms, which is ideal for the personalized attention we like to give each of our guests – but it also limits the number of reservations we can accept. Our cancellation policy must take this into account, so we thank you for understanding.
The West Lane Inn does not take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness of injury, or family emergencies.
If you made your reservation through a third-party website such as Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO, or Airbnb, you are bound to the cancellation policies agreed to when booking on their website. The cancellation policies on their website may differ from our standard cancellation policies when booking directly with The West Lane Inn, any reservation made on a third-party website must be canceled through the third-party website.

CHECK IN & OUT
Check-in is anytime between 3pm and 6pm. If you will be arriving later than 6pm, please contact us so we can make arrangements for a late check-in.
Check-out time is 11am. We will do our best to honor requests for early check-in and late check-out depending on room availability. Otherwise, we are happy to store your baggage.
We accept cash and credit cards. No checks.

DOG POLICY
Please understand that pets and emotional support dogs do not reserve the same rights as Service Dogs.
At The West Lane Inn, we understand that pets are part of the family. We have designated guest rooms that are dog-friendly and must be reserved directly with the Inn. We cannot guarantee a dog-friendly room if you do not book with us. We cannot allow dogs in other guest rooms due to allergies. No other animals are allowed.
Dogs must not exceed 50lbs., stay quiet, and never be left unattended in the guest room. Under CT law, animals are prohibited in areas that store, prepare, or serve food. Therefore, dogs are not allowed in the Breakfast Room. If your dog were to damage anything in the Inn, you will be liable for the cost of those damages.
It is your responsibility to pick up after your dog. Doggie bags are available if needed.
A $25 fee plus tax per day per dog will be charged during your stay.
